ENDO (Endotoxin LAL)
The ENDO test uses Kinetic LAL Assay technology to detect and quantify endotoxins derived from gram-negative bacteria cell walls, which are naturally occurring toxins that remain present whether bacteria are viable or non-viable. Endotoxins are commonly found in water-damaged buildings, sewage treatment plants, agricultural settings, and flood-contaminated environments. Health effects vary based on individual sensitivity, dosage, and exposure route (primarily inhalation or ingestion).
